Happy New Year, Christmas Dinner Tablescape

Happy New Year Sweet Friends,

Can you believe it??  It's here.....2016
Sometimes it is just hard to fathom
that another year has come and gone.
I have heard it said many times from
older folks, that the older you get the
quicker time flys,  and I have to say,
at 63+ yrs, that I am finding that to
be very true...........lol

We had a very quiet relaxing New
Year's evening, watching "Miracle on
34th Street", and  our fav TV show,
 Heartland. Such a good movie.
We have seen it before but it has been
so long that we weren't sure we had
seen it before, and really enjoyed it, and
we always really enjoy Heartland, will be
sorry when this series ends, course,
we will probably rewatch it.  lol

This is my last Christmas post for the
year............I promise!!  lol

These pictures are of our Christmas
Dinner table.

It is the vignette I had on my Living room
coffee table, but embellished it with some
lil package sprinkes and candles.

Red chargers, white plates and red and green
plaid........ a very traditional color palette
on a white background.  Love how it made
 the colors pop.

  a nice overview.

Used my simple yet modern corelleware,
and wedding silverware, and lovely
green glasses that belonged to a sweet
elderly neighbor lady over 40 years ago.
They are definitely vintage goblets and
I have always loved them.  I have seen
a few in blogland as well.

This was lil darlings place setting, and
this was her first time to sit at the big
table rather than in the high chair, and
boy, did she like that.............she did
amazingly well, and didn't get a spot
of anything on the tablecloth and she
was feeding herself.......

Here is a side view of the
 centerpiece.

Guess you can tell I used a
 Christmas Ball
and Gift package theme

From the opposite end of the table.

I just folded the napkin in two, then fold it
in two again, and laid it over the plate and
tucked each end under the chargers, then
added the bread and butter plate.

This is the backside of the centerpiece

A look down the table
.  We put lil darling right on the end
between Mom and Grammy, in case
she needed some help.......lol

With a Gradient Map affect

With a Posterized affect

Christmas balls are always
a great choice for any decorating
at Christmas time, as far as I
am concerned............

With Photcopy affect

Well, there you have it the last of the
Christmas Pictures............

Hope you have enjoyed the Christmas
Season and all the fun things others
have shared on their blogs, it has
been like a feast for the creative
mind................

Glad you were able to come by
today and hope the rest of your
Day will be a great one.

Again..... Happy New Year,
and May 2016 be a year of
Happiness, Healthiness, and
Hopefulness with a lot of
Peace thrown in to the batch.

New Year Blessings for 2016
Nellie
