Thankful Thursday December 2, 2021, Our Christmas mantle 2021

Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.

    Proverbs 15:30 NIV

Greetings Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you well and decorating your hearts out.

Love this time of the year and all and who it represents, Jesus's Birthday of course. I am finally at it, and really enjoying it,  but got tired and remembered I needed to do my post for today anyway.  So here I am! I started my decorating with our mantle, and really love how it came out.  Hope you get a kick out of it too.  The family room is finished,  except for our tree,  I do that after I finish everything else typically.

Pictures today are of our mantle for 2021.

So on with my Thankfuls.....

#1

Thankful for a very quiet and restful day after

all the preparation, fun and festivities of Thanksgiving.

The hardest thing we did all day was get the leftovers out

and back in the fridge.  LOL

#2

Thankful for the "Christmas Cookie Challenge"

A fun series on Discovery + chanel.  We are really

enjoying it, and it has already made us in the mood

for Christmas..........lol

#3

Thankful for our first Christmas movie of the

season " The Christmas candle" .  It was a very

good movie.

#4

Thankful that we just got all the furniture moved

around in the family room, and hubby put the

tree up while I made beef stew.  It has nothing

on it yet......but she's up!! lol  Decided not

to tackle anything else until Monday.

#5

Thankful for a few days of rest on Thursday

and Friday, feeling much more energetic today.

#6

Thankful for fun Christmas traditions that

we look forward to...as soon as we start

to decorate on goes the Christmas music, and

we have our first glass of eggnog.  I like to mix

mine with equal amounts of half n' half.

#7

Thankful that I have started working on

several new Christmas cards for our shop

and for us to send out, as well.

#8

Thankful for a good day at church, being

able to wear a wintery outfit, and going out

to Cracker Barrel with our friends,

#9

Thankful for a lovely interview with our

Florida's First Lady done by the Epoch

times.  They found she out in the last

few months that she has breast cancer

and she is getting treatment.  Pray for

her if you feel so led,  they have a lot

on their plate with her hubby being

Governor of Florida and they have

3 small children.

See it here if you'd like.

or type it in for yourself

happening between myself and a young woman

at our church. Too much to go into but definitely

think it is a divine connection.
