Fun things to use for Fall Decorating #3

Happy Tuesday

 Sweet Friends,

Hope your week is going well.

Mine is.......
I am delighted that we finally got
 our porch cleaned up (it was in need
 of that before Hurricane Irma made
her visit) so figured while everything
was in the garage we should get that
done then put everything back.  So
waiting for it to finish drying, so we
can start putting it back together.
Still have chairs to clean, but at 
least we are moving in the right
direction....and it will be nice to
 be able to get around in the garage
 freely once again........lol

Today is part 3 of Fun things to
use for Fall Decorating, and I
am using pics from my living
room still.............

So lets get started

Item #13

Use Dark colored metals
 to add drama and warmth to the
 room. Decorating for any season
 is sort of like how you dress your-
self for those season, we tend to

wear darker colors in the Fall and
 Winter so we also dress our home
 in darker colors, or colors of the
 season typically.

Or copper colored metals, they are

perfect for Fall...........like this

cute lil chair full of tiny pumpkins.

and copper metal looking

candle holders work too.

sometimes there is just a touch of

dark metal.......

Like on these pumpkins.........

and some things are all dark metal,

like these finials....

Items #14

using florals, fruit and berries
or picks with those items.

These make for easy peasy quick accents.

You can just add them to a shelf
or vignette

Apples............

mini Pumpkins picks..............

Berries.................


or add them to a vase, basket, dish,
cream pitcher or regular pitcher,
 like I did here below.
 Perfect way to add color and
 texture and beauty.

Real or Faux will look lovely.

or you can just lay a spray of flowers
or berries against something as you
see below.............

or throw a fall floral arrangement 
together. Most of the time if the
arrangement is not going to be
moved I simply stick the flowers
in without even using floral foam
or anything, just play with it till
it looks attractive to you.

or just add one single stem ......

Item #15

Two of my all time favorites are using
 game letters and sprinkles.  You can
see both in the pic below. Those are
tiny lil pumpkin sprinkles on top of
the game letters. If you click on the
pic you will be able to see it much
better.

These are 3 dimensional sprinkles
that add a lil more fall color.

and here are flat leaf sprinkles that
add a lil extra interest to the
empty spaces on the tray.



Item #16
Gift Bag Stuffing and Pumpkins
Of course......

I like to use the gift bag stuffing
to add texture and for more of a
natural feel and to highlight that 
white mini pumpkin and leaf.

It also works well for making
bird nests.......or just helping
to bump something up to give
it a little height or just so it
doesn't look so lonely or stark
on the plate or surface.

and Remember.....do use
Pumpkins..........

Anywhere from tiny and
resin..............

to Mini and ceramic......

to Large and fabric......

I love pumpkins in all
shapes, sizes and textures,
and bet you do too.
