Tablescape Playing with Green #5

Hello Sweet Friends,

Hope you had a really great weekend
and Monday.

Our weekend was really great because
we got to see our sweet daughter Dee,
and had a family get together at Scott
and Megans house.  Didn't get as much
time as usual with her, as she had a
wedding shower to attend, and then
things concerning the wedding to take
care of since she is in the wedding
but lives away!
But we are grateful for the time we
had cause definitely better than not
seeing her at all.................

Figured I would finish showing you
my lil series on Tablescape Playing
with green.  I already did 4 of them,
so this is #5.  This time I had these
really pretty black and white paper
plates I found at the $ store, so decided
to make a casual breakfast, lunch or
dinner table with them, and regular
plates.  I really liked the greens and
the black and white....

Remember this table.........where the playing
all started.  I decided to do 3 different place
settings and with the same tablecloth, place
mat, and green salad plates and  with the
 same centerpieces.......Well, it started out
that way, but as I got into it I started
thinking of items from around the house
that would be nice to add to a vignette.
So this table is another result of that!

Here is the centerpiece

Used my scalloped plates I got at Target
some years back,  then the paper plate and
a bread plate from my corelle ware.

It is sort of a flowery paisley design
and I thought it was very striking.
Thought a napkin looked good stuffed
in the glasses

Thought the white bread plate needed a lil
something, and remembered I had these black
and white cup cake liners from a table I did
for my daughters birthday years back.
If you would like to see click here.

So just turned it upside down and thought
it sort of looked like a dessert, then since
I had some faux blackberries just added
on to the top.

The table was so striking because of the
black and white contrast hubby noticed it
the moment he walked in the door,
which is very unusual for him.   lol
He said this was his favorite out of the
3 I did................

Love using pitchers and/or creamers,
when doing a centerpiece. Also like
this small silver tray, it was perfect
to hold a few napkins, and a pretty
cream pitcher, and we always need a
lil candlelight no matter the time
of day............... and threw in a few
blackberries to match

So glad you could drop by today,
and hope you will let me know
you were here.............

If you want to see Part 4

and
if you'd like come back on Thursday
 for Part #6

Have a Delightful Week!
and
Keep your light shining

  2. I love how you pulled different patterns from the plate boarder and napkins with the green. It makes such a pretty place setting. The pitcher makes a great piece for the centerpiece. I really like the mix for this tablescape.
Have a lovely day, so nice visiting with you..............
