Thomas Merton is....
Thomas Merton OCSO (1915–1968) was an American Trappist monk. He was a successful writer, theologian, mystic, poet, social activist, and scholar of comparative religion. On May 26, 1949, he was ordained to the priesthood and given the name Father Louis.

    What a beautiful quote, Nellie so true. two of my favorite scripture verses that I quote each day are Philippians 4:6~7. Have a blessed Sunday.

    Happy Sunday to you. Thanks for coming over to visit. Been nice hearing from you so much.

    I thought it was a beautiful quote as well. So funny Phil. 4:6 and 7 are my life verses,
    as I used to be a horrible worrier when I was new in the faith, but the Lord used that
    verse to really transform my life. Not that I never ever worry, but it sure is nothing like
    it used to be, thank heavens I can rest in the peace that passes all understanding most of
    the time.

    One of the old hymns I remember singing from a child is "Spirit of the Living GOD, fall fresh on me." Another song was about the "Holy Spirit Breathe on Me/" Every breathe we take is a gift from GOD. What a blessing it is from GOD to breath without labor! There are so many things He blesses us through His Love, mercy and grace! I'm so overjoyed with His promise.
    "GOD will supply all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) Breathing is one of these riches! Love you, Susan
