Greetings Sweet Friends,

Hope you all had a wonderful
4th of July.....

ours was really good, twice......lol

Busy day today,  so gotta get this
finished up.  Pics are from my
Charleston golf cart tour again.

So on with my Thankfuls.....

#1

Thankful for a fun sleepover with lil
 darling on Friday night.  We always 
have fun playing games with her.....
hide and seek, 4 corners, a princess
matching game, candy land, bingo
 and this time hubby happened to see 
some finger rockets at dollar tree 
and boy, were they were a hit......

Think Grampy enjoyed them as
much as lil darling........lol

Thankful for an early but fun 4th 
of July celebration with the family
on Sunday.  We thought we were
gonna be out of town on the 4th
so we did it early.  Good food
and good times........and lots of
wii playing.........

#3 and 4

Thankful for getting some much

 needed limb trimming done on our

 trees in the front yard, and thankful
for our new limb cutter,  we had
gotten a pole chain saw but it was
not as long as the description made
it sound, so we had to take it back
and we wound up with a manual
pole saw and cutter and it works
great.

Thankful for a new TV series we 

found called "Emily",  the story line
 is a bit like Anne of Green Gables
 but it is a great series and we are
really enjoying it, and would highly
recommend it to anyone, great 
family fare.

Thankful we got our new stools

for the breakfast bar and we really

like them very sturdy and a nice

update, but will definitely be

 painting them white. It was nice
not to have to move chairs away
from the breakfast bar last night 
when I put found there buffet 
style,  as the stools just tuck
right under the bar....



#7 and 8
Thankful for a really fun 4th of
July with some friends and their
children.  We made a day of it
from 3-11:30 PM.  Good Food,
 Good time and lots of card play-
ing and wii playing....
Thankful for a new card game 
they taught us and bought for us,
 called "Monopoly Deal", it was
 really fun and you can actually
 finish a game. lol
My brother and I used to play
Monopoly every day when we
were out of school for the 
summer and don't think we ever
finished a game. lol

Thankful that since hubby has
 retired we are having more time 
to do what we love to do, and that
is entertaining.

Thankful that our friend who had
the hip replacement surgery seems
to be coming along well.

Thankful for afternoon naps when
we need them......

Thankful that hubbies blood pressure
has gotten even lower since he retired.
His job must have been more stressful
 than he realized.  In fact, it was lower
than it has ever been in his life, so at 
first I was concerned that it might be
too low, but found out it was fine.
