Tablescape Thursday - My Birthday table done by hubby

Hello Sweet Friends,
How are you doing today???
Very Well,  I hope!

It has been a great week around here so far.
My actual birthday was yesterday, so I got to go
with my daughter to get a pedicure last night,
while hubby and her fiancee hung out,  then we
ate Mexican food,  it was a very nice evening.

Well,  wanted to show you a few shots I was
able to get of the birthday table hubby did!!

He did really well,  he got all the silverware in the right place,
as well as the bowls!~!   Good going honey!!

I love peach,  so it was a peach and green
 tablescape.

These were the lovely carnations we got at
Sam's,  I thought they were so pretty with the
yellow touched in pinky peach.  So Pretty!

A nice look at the centerpiece.  Those lil urns are
holding candles in case you can't tell!!

I love these napkins because you can fold them
differently to show different fruit or flowers giving
 you a different look.
One way they look like in the above picture,
another they have grapes and you can accent
purple or lavendar,  and another way they have
raspberries with that pretty raspberry pink color.
So they are nice and versatile.

Thought you might like to see inside the urn,
  the clear glass is repurposed!!
It is the top of a yankee candle jar, with
the plastic removed.

The family made me a delightful dinner,
it felt like I was eating in a fine dining
restaurant for sure!!

 special days with me!!

  1. Happy Birthday! I'm trying to picture a table that my husband would set for me. He knows his flatware, but the man is color blind. It would probably be brown and purple or something.

Your peach and green is so pretty. I love those two colors, too. Also, you make me want to dig out my napkins and see if any of mine are versatile too.

    Great job, Hubby!

  6. Beautiful! He did such a good job.

Hope you are safe with the weather conditions. There is nothing that used to scare me more than tornados when we lived back in Nebraska.

Love that you are going so spoiled....

When you visited my BLOG you asked about if we knew about Skype and indeed we do. In fact we just skyped the other night. The kids were tired and really didn't want to talk although Emma showes us a dance and sang a song. So cute....

    Blessings & Love

  15. Happy Belated Birthday! I'm so sorry I missed it. It sounds like you had a great day. I'm kinda thinking that maybe your hubby needs his own blog. I mean, very nice work on that tablescape. Good luck to the both of you regarding the job situation. Have a great weekend.
