Hurricane Florence
Update for My
Daughter and hubby
Good Monday Morning
Sweet Friends,
Just wanted to write and say I am
beyond Grateful and Happy to say
that our daughter Dee and hubby
Jerry, who had to evacuate to Ashe-
ville, NC, due to Hurricane Florence,
made it back to Charleston, SC on
Sunday afternoon, safe and sound,
with only a minor delay of (about
30 mins.), they had no wind and some
rain as the drove right into the Tropical
depression area. Also they found home
and hearth just as they left it, with just
yard debri added, and with the power
on as well.
Funny thing is.....she said it was like
they didn't even get rain, as they had
turned their sprinklers off before they
left thinking they would get a lot of
rain, so all their plants were dry,
drooping and some a lil brown.....
since they were gone for 4 days.
Anyway, thank you to all who felt
led to pray for them. We are most
grateful!!
Our hearts are very grieved for all
the folks in NC who are so flooded
out and displaced from their homes.
They will certainly be in our prayers
for a long time. May the Lord give
them much peace, grace, patience
and endurance for this long road
they have ahead of them.
Have a Good day!
Blessings,
Nellie
So glad they are all safe Nellie...Mimi xxx

Blessings,
Nellie
Will be over to visit soon......I have been by but just
didn't have time to comment.
Living in the FLORIDA Keys for 28 years and going through some devastating hurricanes; I can
ReplyDeletesurely sympathize and know the depth of prayer for those in Florence's path! Praise our LORD, Jerry and Dee have been blessed to even have their electricity still on. There were times we went several weeks without electricity! Thank the LORD for gas stoves and a whole lot of ice!
Love you, Susan
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteYes, they are beyond blessed. I think they never lose power for too long, I think because
they have a fire station right up the street for them. Cause if your home is on a hospital
grid they get the power up and running in those emergency areas pronto. Yea, the after
affects of these storms are no fun at all..........but this is way worse than any storm
we have ever encountered, just can't imagine.......I pray for those in the devastated
areas every time I think about it......
Have a great evening hon,
Love, Nellie
