.
Good Sunday Morning to you!!
.
Hope you are feeling well on this Sabbath Day!
.
Saw this verse today, and thought this is the one!
It has been a tremendous encouragement to me this year,
with all that has gone on in our Government and Economy.
I pray it will bring encouragement to your heart,
as well, Dear one.
.
The verse for today is from Proverbs 21:1
.
"The kings heart is in the hand of the Lord;
he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases."
.
That is exciting to know that God controls the lives
and actions of kings or of Presidents and elected
officials, and directs their hearts wherever he pleases.
That says to me..... it is my job to pray for the Lord
to have his will and way in their lives, and then
to trust Him to do whatever He sees fit!!
I have been doing that all year, and it has been a comfort to me.
If you are not already doing that.........give it a try...
I think you will be surprised at how the Lord uses those
prayers to bring peace and comfort to you in this
difficult world we live in.
.
Have a really Restful Sunday.
Blessings and Hugs,
Nellie
Thanks for your lovely visit. Our daughter Sara lives in the mid-west in the Quad Cities. She is not married, but does have a boyfriend. We are looking forward to meeting him in October if all goes well. I am glad you figured out how to do the macro setting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this thought...a very good one! Happy Sabbath to you, Nellie!

Hi Nellie, Love the photo(of course)but love your verse and your post today. I have been reading your posts just haven't been able to stop lately and comment as much as I'd like-I'll be back to normal soon as in another week or two we will be moving. Have a wonderful restful day in Him.
